If you’re looking for a place to begin, to belong, and to be loved, I have some good news for you. We all are, and we’ve all found that here and through the person of Jesus the Christ! Jesus has redeemed us. He has transformed our lives and he continues to do that through the Holy Spirit, drawing us closer to God and changing our lives. And because of that, we here at First Church are so grateful to who God is and what God has done for us and what we believe he is continuing to do in our lives and what he can do for you. And as a result of that gratefulness, we’ve all decided to put Jesus first and to follow him.

 We hope and we believe that you will find many of the answers to the questions you’re searching for on this website, but if for some reason you don’t find what you’re looking for, I hope that you’ll click the “Contact Us” tab that’s located on this web page and give me, my staff, or some of the church family here an opportunity to find exactly what you’re looking for. For our Grads !!
Senior baskets at First UMC, are ready!! 7 baskets with the name of each graduating student attached have been placed in the hallway to the main offices.
Our Seniors can take the basket and it’s contents with them on move-in day at their respective university or college for fall semester!
Some of the Things They might need:
copy paper, pens & pencils, laundry detergent, dryer sheets, towels, washcloths, writing utensils, alarm clock, flash drives, college ruled notebooks, paper plates (for Pizza), small plastic containers, paper towels, clothes hangers, tissues, Band-Aids, key ring, small flashlight, post it note pads, extension cords, power strips, duct tape, academic notebook/planner (small) — any item a college student might need.
