MISSIONS UPDATES

Again this year FUMC will be helping those in our community who are having a hard time making ends meet. On Friday, April 2, we will distribute 100 hams and Max Lucado’s book, He Did This Just for You to show them God’s love in a practical way.

If you would like to help hand out the hams and booklets contact Stacey Homra or Trish Hoy.

Hams will run approximately $15 each. If you would like to help with costs, mark your donation “Easter Ham” and drop it in the offering. (The books have been donated)   Thanks for being a loving and generous congregation!

HAITI MISSION

For the last two years we have sent our Haiti mission a separate check for $500 for the sole purpose of buying food. This money provides one meal per day for about 60 to 80 children and adults and many days it is the only meal of the day. As of October we have exhausted this fund and are using “dollars for missions” to fund this account. If you would like to assist in feeding our Haiti brothers and sisters please make a donation with a notation of Haiti Food.

Also we will come to you soon with updated information for Thanksgiving boxes, we plan on 100
We are in the process of forming a team to go on a spring mission trip to HAITI next year.

The exact dates for this mission trip have not been set. This will be a group decision. If you are interested in joining the team, please call Vicky Wilson at 873-4717 or 830-5442.
